Please find attached case-study about Taco bell; it provides you with useful information about history and establishment of the Taco bell chain around the globe.
In a hypothetical scenario, consider Taco bell is interested in entering the NZ market and would like to develop their understanding of the New Zealand fast food market. Taco bell believes that it is critical to understand customers’ mindset in order to succeed in a new market.
In order to understand New Zealand’s fast food customers better, you have to conduct a brief secondary and primary research (qualitative only) to collect, organise and analyse information. Your information should be useful for Taco bell in their future endeavours in New Zealand.
ASSIGNMENT TASK
Secondary research (5 marks) (appox. 500 words)
o Conduct a brief secondary research to gather information about the demographic, social and cultural aspects of New Zealand Society.
o Classify the information collected under the following sub-headings:
Customer demographic information
New Zealand society and culture
New Zealand family and households
Qualitative research (10 marks) (300 words)
o Conduct a qualitative research in form of 3 in-depth interviews
o Develop a discussion guide for your in-depth interview
o Attach a copy of transcripts of interview with respondents (Appendices).
Qualitative research analysis (15 marks) (appox. 1200 words)
o Analyse and classify consumer behaviour information under the following sub-headings:
Cultural influences on fast food customers in New Zealand.
Age based differences in New Zealand relevant to fast food.
Social classes in New Zealand.
Popular culture among New Zealanders relevant to fast food.
Group influences in the New Zealand culture.
Household purchase patterns in New Zealand relevant to fast food.
