I have a site that is built in asp.net 2.0 with sql 2005
on the site as a part of all pages in the top right i have a search box that does a animation and then uses EXTJS as the js library for this cool type ahead search function.
I need help in 2 areas.
1-I think this function can be done more effieciently on the page without loosing any functions or ui behavior
2-The EXTJS library in the way we are using it is nearly 300Kb and i just think there is something that can be done about this. I have checked the extjs library site and found the exact search we are using <[login to view URL]>
I need someone that can work well in asp.net without breaking my site to help us optimize this entire function to make it faster, lighter on the page and possibly let us know anything else we can do to imrpove response time
Ill tell you my site url after you post. Please no generic posts about your company. Just let me know you are a js pro and can handle debugging client side things like this. You might need to know about web services and things like that as well.
When you are done with the js optimization i would like you to also run it through yui compressor
