I need a secure HID Bootloader for the NXP LPC17xx MCU The software needs to be able to load a binary over HID that has been encrypted, AES, 3DES, etc.. and decrypt it on the MCU and write to flash memory. On boot up the bootloader should check the status of the program, and if program does not exist or is corrupted it should enter into bootloader mode where it waits for a new firmware to be loaded via USB-HID. I make animatronic halloween props and most of them are servo controlled or relay controlled. I have looked at using Arduino, Picaxe, etc, but there are no good solutions for what I want. I am wanting to make a single controller board, maybe using PIC microchip, that can record the movements from a joystick that I plug in to the board.
