A LabVIEW VI is required to fuse 2 sources of data being Gyro Rate and Accelerometer date to represent Pitch and Roll of a platform. A Kalman filter is to be used to fuse the two data sources as to give an accurate indication of Pitch and Roll angle. Ideally the programmer should have access to a Gyro and Accelerometer but this is not essential as simulated data can be provided to test the VI. Data from the Gyro and Accelerometer will be received using the Analogue inputs of a NI DAQ 6008 Previous experience with IMU’s and Kalman filters will be required. The accelerometer and Gyro uses are similar to what is available on sparkfun.com. The second power supply (number 2) applies a voltage to a LED array (acts as a light source).
