I have upgraded to php 7.2 from php 5.4 on my managed host running Apache. My affiliate links no longer work. They are being redirected using mod rewrite at the ht access level. My mod rewrite rule directs to a php file containing a script and associative array of URLs. I think there is a backward compatibility issue with this script or htaccess. We have a server that constantly is getting a high number of connections to it. We have set up a script to restart PHP-FPM to kick those connections off. They seem to be targett...could be the issue and sort out which potential IPs are doing this so we can ban them. We have run several netstat scripts to sort connections by IP but nothing seems to be helping at the moment when we ban the IPs. Perhaps you have another way to find this and stop it. Configuration: CENTOS 8 PHP 7.4.7 MySQL 8.0.17 Apache VMWare I'm trying to configure my WordPress installation to work with an External Database (on a different server). From the application-sever, I'm able to connect to the database-server using the mysql cli command (mysql -u <username> -h <database-server-ip> -p).
