At the moment I am also...Hello, my name is Miguel Ribeiro and I am 26 years old. I have a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) where I have acquired experience and knowledge over the years that allow me to provide added value to your company. At the moment I am also taking the course of Security Technician (CAP VI). I did a summer internship in the Municipal Council of Paredes in which my duties involved the development of PQCA, operational control plans of several water treatment plants, authoring of those same sites, development of emergency plans, among others, where I obtained a letter of recommendation. I have always been interested in all areas of work related to Environmental Engineering. My master's thesis aimed at a techno-economic analysis of the biomethanization of biogas in wastewater treatment plants, where I had to conduct a thorough research of various technologies to be applied in a real case, as well as complete investment plans for these technologies in the long term, in order to understand if an investment in the technologies would be profitable for the company. This reveals a critical and imaginative thinking, in order to develop new products and solutions for existing problems in the environmental area, without ever losing the technical knowledge of environmental engineer in FEUP, where where I absorbed information and knowledge that will stay with me for a lifetime. I did an internship at EDP Produção (market leader) where I grew immensely professionally. Being one of the biggest companies in Portugal, I could see how is to work in a big group, how important is the team work and constant organization. I carried out numerous tasks in the area of environment and safety, including the preparation of the Management Plan of Water Resources (PGRH), verification, survey and collection of waste from the DDR for extraction and treatment, assisting in the implementation of SIGAS 2022 in EDP Produção, preparation of technical sheets of skips, Emergency Plans (rescue) and Safety Instructions, preparation of work permits (AT's), monitoring of construction works, preparation of files / consignment measures of various equipment, various volunteer actions, among others. The trust they placed in me, as a trainee, was surprising and at the same time gratifying, since I had a lot of responsibilities to which I responded and which allowed me to learn and evolve as an Environmental Engineer. At the moment I work in Groz-Beckert (the biggest needle producer in the world) where I am responsible for the environment and also work with safety, being some of my duties Waste treatment, annual consumption reports, analysis of legal compliance in environment and OHS, update of Safety Data Sheets, analysis of VOC's, SOP's, CMR's, Fluorinated Gases, indicators of CO2, water, nitrogen consumption, etc., and verification of Machines and Equipment according to the DL 50/2005. less
