Contest Brief

We need a fully responsive Wordpress template for a school website.

This job includes both the design and the coding of the template.

DELIVERABLE:
A fully functional theme installed on a server provided by us (including minor modifications based on our feedback), with sample content based on the site structure mentioned below.

NOTE: The design should be built on an existing major multipurpose theme such as Jupiter, Divi, Enfold, Avada, etc. This is so it can be easy to change later. Please let us know which theme the design is based on when you submit.

CONTEST SUBMISSION:
Accurate mockup of the home page (see below for contents of home page) and link to template used to build your design

LOOK & FEEL:
This is for a private school, targeting students from secondary school to adult learning, so the design needs to be modern, clean and professional.

We have attached here the logo and the namecard design for the brand so you can take design cues from that. We need the brand image of the school to fit together so the web design has to be compatible with the design of the other brand materials.

The primary colour of the theme has to be green to match the logo.

TEMPLATE DETAILS:
- the top menu should have the following sections:
Home, About, Full-time Courses, Tuition, Apply, Student Services, Accommodation, Contact

The following page templates would be required:
Home page - top menu, slider, courses section with full time and tuition subsections, student services section
Single Column Page with content and image
Single Column Image Gallery Page
Single Column page with Content Tabs
FAQ Single Column Page
News/Blog two column page
Contact Page with Map and Contact Form

Please let us know in the comments section if you have any questions or comments. We will be happy to clarify.

Hello. Does the theme cost include (freelancer purchase) or separate (employer purchase) in the contest prize? Thanks.

Theme cost is included in the prize. Freelancers typically would have already purchased one or several of the major multipurpose themes so we think it won't be much of a problem.

Hi, your contest looks very interesting. One of us has a decade of experience in training schools in the asian region, we could bring something new to the table if you intend on letting the timer run down. Also, do you need to utilize the visual composer component of those themes? I only mention this because they often don

don't function too well as far as responsiveness goes.

We will keep the contest open until the timer runs out. Some of the multipurpose themes have gotten better recently with regards to responsiveness. Some still bloat the code a bit, but we need the composers as the site is likely going to be maintained by someone with no coding knowledge.

If you intend to submit an entry for this contest I would advise to base it on a multipurpose theme as requested in the brief.

      Thanks.

Not really, we're quite flexible at this point. Part of the reason why we made this a contest is because we want to see different concepts, it would help us decide what works best.

We like the look of https://www.uwcsea.edu.sg, for example, if you need a reference, but we don't want to end up with a copy of that design. But we do want the same type of modern, dynamic feel and how it makes use of recent trends in web design.
