Contest Brief

Hello, thanks for looking at this contest, please read the description carefully, I'm asking for 2 assets in this project, please show both assets in your entry, those missing one or the other will be rejected.

1x logo in the form of a wordmark... this will be placed in the header navigation of our website
1x mobile app icon (the home screen square logo) that compliments the wordmark

Please submit your entries on a white background as this is intended for a website and app icon, not in 3D or on paper etc.

I run the photography website https://365project.org/ and (soon-to-be) mobile app that helps you run a photo-journal, the idea being to take a photo of something you do each day for a year.
I'd like to update our branding with a modern logo & app icon.

*** The wordmark / logo ***
- Should say the words "365 Project" (upper or lowercase). You can be creative in how these characters tie together.
- Should be wider rather than taller, so for example our current logo scales down nicely to around 32px tall, no wider than ~150px at that height.
- It should fit nicely in to a top navigation bar.
- Typography is very important for me
- Any fonts used should be freely available, eg a Google Font

*** The app icon ***
The app icon should feature the entire wordmark, or the content "365".
The app icon could incorporate a camera, or calendar, hinting to the concept of the project.

*** Entries ***
In your entry, please provide samples of both the wordmark and app icon design together.

*** Suggestions ***
- See the uploaded asset I provided "logos and fonts i like" for the type of content i'm looking for.
- Typography is very important!
- Minimal design
- Solid flat colours (no gradients or excessive textures)
- Maybe use a camera, camera lens or a calendar... or open to other suggestions.
- Custom Illustration

What I don't like...
- Anything busy or cluttered, I'm looking for minimal
- Watercolours
- Cartoon characters, or anything childish

*** Colours ***
To date we've always been blue and green (see the site). I'm happy for some variation on our current colour scheme, the new site will have everything based on a white background, so please provide your entries on a flat white background.

*** Deliverables ***
At the end of the project I would like to receive...

- Vector artwork
- 1x website wordmark / logo
- 1x mobile app icon (the icon for home screen)
