Contest Brief

We are looking for a designer that has UX design experience. We recently had a new logo designed for our site. I attached it to this contest. This contest is only for the home page and the reverse image page. The links are below in the description. Once we choose a winner, we will hire the designer on project basis to finish the rest of the site. We are only needing a designer as we already have a full time developer who will take the designs and build out our new site.

One important thing. We don't like the current background image on our site and we're open to new colors, too. I also just added a screenshot of one of our competitor sites. Their design looks really nice.

Here are the pages that the winner will need to be redesign/update https://goo.gl/2rqP5Q. We will hire the winning designer to finish the rest of the project. We have a total of around $1k budget for this entire project.

IMPORTANT: We need a UNIQUE DESIGN. No copied template designs off of the internet, please.

We will hire award the winner based off of the new homepage design (desktop/mobile) and the reverse image search page (found here https://goo.gl/g1jEQy). Our reverse image search allows a person to upload an image and find matches anywhere on the internet. Most of our customers have met someone online or are trying to find images of themselves. We are also starting to sell this to photographers and other businesses so, it needs to look professional.

A few things about us. We have about 70% mobile users so, we will need to make the mobile design something that is very important. We currently have a mobile adaptive site so, will need 2 versions. Desktop and mobile.

We are a smaller site so, need to establish trust with the professional design and need to show testimonials and media mentions. We need users to search in order to convert them to paid subscribers so the search is the most important thing. Our subscriptions business is the lifeline of our company. We want our site to be self explanatory where users won’t have to wonder how something works. We want a site that is inviting, fun, clean and professional looking and communicates our personality to our users. We sell our services to everyday people, photographers and some businesses. Everyone is asking if we can extend it. Freelancer was down so, it delayed me giving feedback. We're going to extend the project because we didn't get any completed work to our satisfaction yet. I'll go through and update the top ones with more feedback.
