Congratulations Vibrasphere for a winning design. By all means, this is not a perfect design, and not at all the most artistic. But, it was the most user-friendly, intuitive, and easy-navigation of the designs submitted. It is by far the design that comes closest to what the contest was all about. Thank you all who participated. I look forward to working with you again. In a few weeks you can look up Vindio Records and see what the finished product looks like. Thank you again.

There have been a few good designs (designers making artistic statements), but there have been very little designs that would have been intuitively simple to use as a real world website. And that's what I had been looking for from the beginning...a website Joe Public didn't have to pause, and figure out what it is, and what he's supposed to do next. I was looking for a user friendly website, where at a glance you can basically figure out how to get around the site. I did not see much of that.

Cameolis is correct in that the contest is for a website design and not a fully functional design. And besides, I don't think you guys would be building a fully functional website for the dollar amount of this contest. On a separate note--please don't submit designs that clearly don't measure up. Do you guys think I should extend the contest one more week? Would that help?

Thank you for clarifying that for us! Good luck with the contest! I will surely enter my own design soon enough.

As anuj47 said: it says at the very end of the brief, if you will see "File Types: You'll need to provide your design in PSD format." - that is just the design, not an HTML template or a fully functioning website. I don't know if you can hold a competition for a fully functional design, but you should know that the design you will get as a result for this competition will require developing into a website.

      Same Question...

      anuj47

      Hello sir,
you only need the design or the complete website. You mentioned that you prefer HTML5. So is the contest of just designing a page or whole website with coding and all?
