Contest Brief

Hey There,

We are an upcoming startup from India. We will be working on travel accessories and travel gear, starting with motorcycle luggage (not limited to this) we want a name for the brand to be versatile and not restricted to a particular segment, as we wish to expand in all kind of travels and products related to it for eg. Adventure (Hiking,Trekking), Urban(Daily commute,Long tours) , Sports (outdoor, water sports,gym) Etc.

It can be random (Not necessarily related to travel accessories or gear)

There is no such restriction on the naming/nomenclature part,
But one should consider the following :
-It should be simple yet catchy (Your can fuse words in different languages, Create a new word and add meaning to it, Descriptive names etc)
-Meaningful (At least should have some concept behind it)
-Positive (It has positive connotations in the markets served. No strong negative connotations.)
-Distinctive (It is unique, as well as easy to remember, pronounce, and spell. It is differentiated from the competition.)
Added points : If you can add an Indian Vibe to it.


Don'ts-
-The name should not be generic
-The name should not be literal (eg. travel accessories/travacc etc.)

Key Words for the brand : Friendly, Easy, Rebel,innovative.

A few competitor brands with good names are- Viaterra, Patagonia, Wandrd, Touratech.
(these are just a few for your reference)
A few other non related industry examples- OYO, Amazon, Thrillophilia, GoPro

Key Deliverables-
A small 4-5 slide presentation/PDF which contains-
1. The name and its meaning
2. Story behind the name
3. Mood board or appropriate imagery for it.

    Hi! Just a heads-up : the winner only gets 5 USD ( object to another 5% exchange tax, income tax, withdrawal fees), as you have to pay 5 USD to the platform for winning a contest (5 USD it's the minimum fee). You would most likely get a lot more entries if you would increase the prize.

    Guys Please submit a PDF file, As mentioned in the "Deliverables".
    And Do not just think on generic and cliche names, like mixing travel and some word.
    Please come out with something "Unique".
    Indian vibe to the name will be a Bonus.
