Contest Brief

Hello! I recently found out how to code animations using Python! I'm a consultant looking for a new animation. I'd like to have a contest to see who can create the most interesting animation using Python with the attached logos.

The only rules are:

1. You must use one of the two attached logos.
2. You must display the text:
"140,321 Cans of Coke Now Sold!"

To win, please submit the resulting animated gif file and the script you used.

For Reference:
If you haven't coded an animation in Python before, here is a reference article -

If it wouldn't have 941 K it would probably suit. I believe the equivalent SVG animation can be done with less than 94 K.

To be honest - my animation exported to GIF exceeds 3.4 MB yet the SVG and javascript animation with all files is total 184 K. And editable/controllable (timings, number of cans sold, ending text effect etc) using just a text editor.

I guess business people in 2020 still think the mobile users really want to wait 5+ s to load a website loader animation.

      Congratulations for the winning.

Thanks for your entries! This is a fun challenge to see how well you can animate with either Python or Javascript! The Python animations look cool, some of them look retro! I haven't seen a great javascript entry yet. This is a guaranteed contest, so I will award the best entry after 4 days. Thank you for again!

And to clarify, the code needs to produce an animated gif file. I will judge based on the animated gif and the script that's used to create the animation.

Please expand on two issues and take note for the third:

      1. Web animations are now 99,9% done with javascript and (usually) SVG. Using Python is weird unless you need a desktop application (for example built with Kivy).

      2. Why an animated GIF? I've seen animations with 10 MB+ long GIF when an equivalent SVG animation would have only several 10 K. With better quality, crisp images and easy future editing.

      3. Finally, submitting a completed work that you can copy without awarding nobody is against the Freelancer Terms of Service. Both you and any freelancer submitting such entry can get banned by Freelancer staff. So do edit your requirements - you receive the final work in the Contest Handover process after you award one entry.

And I like your animation inspirations!

Hi! Yes it's ok to use a library. This might give you an advantage if the library has an effect built in, but I am looking for the best looking animation using code + text + logo, so if a library helps you do that, then it seems ok!
