Contest Brief

“Cups & Mugs”. This is the tagline we will use to promote a trip that includes two destinations: England and Ireland. We need an image that includes both themes: “Cups” (English teacup) and “Mugs” (Irish beer mug). Any photos used must be HD and royalty-free.

This “Cups & Mugs” image will be used on the home page of our promotional website, and on other advertising material. Strive to make the “Cups” image VERY English… and the “Mugs” image VERY Irish.

A landscape orientation is preferred. Including the words “Cups & Mugs” is optional. You can use original artwork for your entry. It is not necessary to provide a photo-based entry.

Please look at Google Images for the query "high tea". This will show you what it looks like. Also, google "beer toasting". You will see beer glasses clinking for a "cheers". This is a GROUP TRIP. Therefore, the idea of more than ONE of the "cups & mugs" is a good idea.

This is a general comment for everyone: the trip to England and Ireland is specifically a GROUP TOUR. In that sense, perhaps it would be a good idea to try MORE THAN ONE cup and mug. For example, maybe you want to show two "clinking" mugs (as if the people are toasting). Perhaps shamrocks are in the air. For the CUPS, then, maybe several teacups around a teapot -- as if getting ready for a tea with friends. This is an idea to explore...

Please try to make your entry fun. Think about traveling to these countries: England and Ireland. I am not looking for SIMPLY a picture of a cup and a mug. Please be creative and try to achieve the goal of a lighthearted, fun approach to this trip theme.

It is better if the home page is not divided in half by the image (one side "cup", one side "mug"). Please creative work the background so that both images are presented in the "same space". There will be other words on the home page related to our trip. Therefore, also, the trip theme of "cups & mugs" does not need to take up the entire space of the page. Even the top 2/3 of the page would be good.
