Contest Brief

I have a events business in Australia and I have decided instead of adding "blogs" to my website I will add articles about members. I require a name to call this project and place the articles under this name. The articles all have there own titles.
Something original, catchy, could be humorous. I was going to call it "Human Singles Library", but now feel it is a bit dry. Can not be crude / crass as my business is all about elegant events, high standards and bringing people together.
I have a thirst for hearing people’s stories and there past that he led them to be the person they are today and what their vision / hopes are for the future.
Amazing stories with challenges and hurdles some of us would have no idea about. This library is short stories, a glimpse into a singles person’s life. Showing how their career, religion, lifestyle, disability, and other factors can contribute to forming new relationships or possibly finding someone special.
The articles are to inform and hopefully help bridge the gap in understanding, empathy, and tolerance of our beautiful diverse culture. I am a proud Australian, single mum, entrepreneur and feel Australia during Covid has lost its way. These articles were written with great respect for the individual being interviewed and I hope will be read with an open mind, warm heart and when finished will bring a small to your face.

    Extraordinary high standard of entries. Thank you to everyone who took the time and sent in an entry to this competition.
    I had 228 entries, unfortunately a couple I liked withdraw their application which was a shame.
    It has taken me a little while to go through all the applications and rank them. Please be aware nobody received a 5 star. The 4 and 3 stars went onto the short list and the 2 stars you did very well.
    All the entries with 3 and 4 stars, your entry went into a forum consisting of a publisher, author, teacher, and myself. We had a wonderful full day Sunday reading each and discussing them. A few giggles and a lot of wow that is really good!! The forum was given each name as an individual entry and was unaware that two Freelancers had been selected for different entries. This way each entry was looked at on its own merit.

    The winner is #220 Winner Human Odyssey Collection I liked all three words “Odyssey a long and eventful or adventurous journey or experience”, but together they are a perfect name to call the articles.
    If you received a 4 or 3 star, I have kept a log of your entries. This project will be continuing for a few years. If an article is put forward that would suit your entry, I will contact you to pay for the submission and ask permission to use your entry as the name of the article.

    With such a high standard and I was lucky enough to receive a grant for this project, I decided to then go back through the list and select titles for future articles. These applicants will be contacted separately with a milestone payment of $50 for their entry, if you give permission for your idea to be used for the title of an article.

    Thank you to all the amazing Contestants. A lot of really wonderful articles. I have ranked all the articles and will be making a decision over the next couple of days. I feel only one winner overall, but a couple of entries I can use in other areas. So will be contacting the writer/s individually and notifying them and arranging separate payment.
