Contest Brief

I need an infographic to explain an office automation project.

I will describe what I need but I have also hand-sketched a rough outline of what I'd like to see.

Before the project, many people edited/created Excel spreadsheets and send them to one person to process/summarize each day. This was time consuming and errors were introduced.

After the automation project, more people used Google Sheets. Excel data and Google data were automatically processed by a computer and results went directly to email, sms, Google Sheets, Excel spreadsheets and databases.

I want the people to be very simple, flat outlines. Ideally the Excel and Google icons would be recognizable. (At least one or two would be.) And the icons indicating email, sms, and database would be easy to understand. (I'm not sure an icon for a database will be that recognizable for most people.)

I want a uniform look. It can look hand-drawn if you want. I just don't want it to look like the parts came from different projects. I am attaching my hand-drawn version as well as the Excel and Google Sheets icons. (If you can get the point across better using different graphics then I'd love to see that.)

Format: I need to be able to add text later and I do not have Photoshop. I am computer literate and I can use Gimp. I'm open to suggestions. I have a Mac and Windows.

I hope to find a designer I can use in the future.
