Contest Brief

I need an illustration of two characters, a blond boy 8-9 years old and a dragon. With HEROIC PROPORTIONS, not cute childish.
They should stand or run beside each other and towards watching the viewer.
They must look very heroic. The boy should have simple clothes like the time of Robin Hood or rebels in star wars, leather belt and stuff no weapons!. The dragon needs to be very strong and tough but still cute. Not a black dragon.

I'm not asking for some specific techniques or even style but I suppose someone good at Manga is more appropiated or heroic cartoons. The characters should be as balanced as posible, I mean by that not an extremly good looking dragon and a poor illustration of a boy. In that case the boy should always look slighty better.
Only flat illustrations if they have good linework. I want an illustration with shadowing and good looking.
PNG no background min 1200*700 px

It's important that they look cool but cute, it's aiming 6-9 years old swedish kids in my channel with fairytales.
If it gives you some inspiration for the drawing.
The dragon tells fairytales to Linus while they are protecting the world against the evil Lexon that control all humans and killed Linus parents.

I'm sorry if I make mistakes It's my first time doing this! So strange things will happen. Right now: #3 has the best boy, #7 the best dragon and #8 (may be you can't see?) has the best dynamic/movement. 4 stars means it's very close to what I need

The dragon has to be 100 times "cooler and stronger" than the boy, because it's a DRAGON and it's badass. But still protecting the kids together with Linus. Don't scary. Play with nostrils and eyebrows and please just some lines of texture. I'd attached the dragon I use right now...he is good but need more muscles and strength.

Please, because it's a youtube channel I want the characters to stand or run TOWARDS the viewer. At least the viewer should feel the characters attention on them. I hope I made my point
