Contest Brief
I am in need of a creative writer that can write my homepage content to engage users to join my site. I am looking at a simple page slider system to break the content up and lead the user to wanting to join.
The site is Forkure.com which is not a live site right now but I am looking to put up a site to get pre-enrollments.
The site is a lot like workpress.com with the concept of social networking where you build a sub-site on a particular subject (a fork, stay with me I'll explain). The user will purchase a site package and based on the package level, the site admin gets certain privileges to build their site with. We are also building a plugin to import content from popular sites where the site admin can post a bookmark to a post and link to it (like reddit in a way). all content is displayed on the front page in a tile layout where the admin can resize the tiles as they are loaded.
Each site has a fixed footer where the site admin will browse other sites on the network and sponsor sites he/she likes. these sites show up in the footer and each site package has a fixed number of sponsor spots (3 - 6). The sponsorship of a site earns you a monthly earning much like you would earn if you sold an ad spot on your site.
The sponsored spots are call prongs and when filled and you get sponsored by another site, you have completed your fork...get it?
The idea is help remove some of the trouble with starting on-line website and earn an income with it. As you upgrade site packages, the admin gets more options to monetize their site.
Forkure.com is a rewarding, premium network of sites. The more you grow the more you earn and help your sponsored sites.
Ask questions as needed. I am working on some brainstorming content that may help what I am thinking but the basic process is Join -> Build -> Populate -> Sponsor others -> repeat.

You are more than welcome to submit an entry. I currently purchased two write ups as I liked both and will more than likely use ideas from both. If I like your entry I may purchase it also.

No it doesn't matter. the content will be displayed html panels when done. You can take a look at how I will use this at Forkure.com where each panel will contain some content. This is still under construction and is not mobile or IE ready yet.

Forkure.com is a premium social share site (actually a network of sub-sites) build on a multi-tier sponsorship payback program similar to a multi-tier affiliate program with the exception that it isn't based on referrals but sponsoring existing sites on the network. A fork is the members site that is sponsored by another members site and each prong is a site that is being sponsored on that site.

Think of it as a premium pintrest site where a board is now a site where you share your content, likes, etc. on the bottom is a sponsorship ribbon that displays up to 6 sites where both site admins have agreed to to sponsor/be sponsored.

I need it to be simple and to the point. If you take look at the example link http://forkure.com/sandbox/index.php you will see what i am looking for as far as format flow and structure. I am guess all together 100 to 150 words is all. Something the user can read in 3 seconds and move to the next slide.
