Contest Brief

LISH Identity System

The goal of this challenge is to design an identity design system for the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard (LISH). Elements to be included are:
• PowerPoint Template
• Letterhead Template
• Business Card Template

Designers are to use the primary or secondary LISH Logo, color palette, and designated font to drive design. The identity system should reflect the one-of-a-kind and cutting-edge research conducted at LISH, while effectively leveraging the tradition and prestige of the Harvard brand, (however, designs should not include any Harvard logos).

The PowerPoint Template should have a number of different options for individual slide layout, i.e. a title and text heavy slide template, a timeline or graphically heavy template, etc.

The letterhead template should be simple and clear.

The business card template should reflect the modern and creative approaches to problem solving the Lab implements and conducts research on.

Mission: The Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard (LISH) is spurring the development of the “science of innovation” through a systematic program of solving real-world innovation challenges while simultaneously conducting rigorous field-based social science research.

Value:
LISH’s value is in the information and research that is produced. While the varying audiences will value and digest information and research according to their own needs, the number one reason people will come to LISH is because they have an interest in the topics and industries in which we are conducting research.
