Contest Brief

I need a logo designed. An amateur drama group is in need of a new logo and would like it to be designed to preference with specific features in mind. Format needs to be vector based and turnaround is urgent.

Name: Leicester Musical And Drama Society (LMADS)

Logo MUST use a CHAMELEON in the design, to represent versatility of group's work and show variety. Any logos without a CHAMELEON will be rejected.

Also consider the following:

Logo needs to be 100% original. Any submissions deemed to be a freebie template with a replaced title or ripped off from another site will not be considered[Essential]
Finished logo must be submitted as Illustrator document and not closed file. [Essential]
ORIGINAL Chameleon/vectoring over clipart or google searches. Client is not naive. [Recommended]
Logos that form text to create chameleon shape will instantly be frontrunners!!!!! [Recommended]
Addition of Am-Dram logo tropes (comedy/tragedy masks) may be considered, but not desirable. Should not replace chameleon
Use of multiple colours (logo will be used online, print, and possibly signage, so a logo that is strong in both colour and monochrome is ideal [Recommended]
Diverse formatting (abbreviation is acceptable in form of 'LMADS' not 'LM and DS', but full name of group must be incorporated)[Recommended]
Do not favour one word over others, keep name uniform vertically or horizontally (No 'LEICESTER' bigger than the rest of name)
No corporate!!! This is an am-dram group, not a corporation. Avoid sharp/steel approach to design.
Try to avoid bevel or embossed logo treatment.
