Contest Brief

We are looking for a logo for our sports brand, “GoJoe”. GoJoe is a sports events company, primarily specialising in athletics/ track and field but with a view to branching out into other sports.

We are looking for a logo which fulfils the following criteria:

(1) is cool and “edgy”/ distinctive (stands out from the crowd)

(2) We are conscious that the name “Joe” is masculine, whereas the spelling “Jo” is feminine. We want our brand to appeal to both sexes. As such, we would welcome ideas on how to reflect this subtly in the logo, I.e by making the ‘e’ a different colour or style to the rest of the word, or putting a small line under “jo”. We may well end up using “GoJoe” all in the same style though but it would be interesting to see ideas.

(3) We would be interested to see styles which may have a ‘sporting’ theme or reference, although this is not essential
