Contest Brief

Want to write a press release that will go nationwide that will allow journalists to obtain better insight into what we do. We want the piece to be a "discovery" piece and is written in a way that conveys to the journalist an opportunity to write about discovering a company and describes how we are changing the industry and providing an innovative, mature, thoughtful product at reasonable prices.

Black Bridge Motors designs, fabricates and builds custom classic and vintage automobiles. We are offering turn key builds that keep true to the period's asthetics but offer modern conveniences and creature comforts found in modern cars. We want the press release to focus on the fact that the industry is ripe with "custom car builders" that are too focused on creating these one off, ultra expensive, very specific cars and we're disrupting the industry by creating a product (the car or truck) that is visually appealing, true to the period asthetically, but modern and reliable and fun to drive at a reasonable price point. We want to convey that we are a new company located in lower fairfield county, connecticut where the classic car hobby is a huge part of the area but tastes and needs are changing and we're here to capture those changes and offer a product that is reflective of a changing market. We also want to focus on the fact that we're unique in this aspect of "adding value" at a reasonable price point and can do so because of how efficient and tech forward we are as a company. Again, this should be a discovery piece so please take some liberties with the verbiage but we want this to be written so the press release really conveys how innovative, disruptive and cutting edge our business model is in the classic and vintage automotive industry.

specifics are done on a vehicle by vehicle basis. Modern features are everything you described and whatever else the customer requires. The point is we're providing the best of both worlds. Asthetics from the golden era of automobile manufacturing combined with technology of today. We don't need to go into specifics because its not materially important to the overall message. The message is just that we're offering that service. We are innovative, yes. If you'd like to craft that in a more appealing manner please do so. That's exactly what I'm paying for.

I asked that because I want to be able to point to specifics in the press release rather than just saying "we are innovative." Journalists read that line every day.

" My questions is: By "modern" do you mean fuel injection, heated/power seats, rear/side cams? Do your cars merely resemble cars from bygone eras? Is that the difference between them and the "ultra specific and expensive" custom car builders?
