Contest Brief

I currently own a Thai restaurant, and we are branching out and creating a frozen food delivery option. We need to come up with a concept for the design on the shipping box and the graphics and packaging. I have our existing logo uploaded and you can see pictures of our food at :

Dimensions on the shipping box are 16' x 12' x 12' (in inches)

We want to promote that our product tastes just as good as the same product that they would order in the restaurant. We want people to feel good when they see the box, open it, and then prepare the food. We are open to the best approach to do this.

We will be required to have the following:

1 - Heating Instructions (we have this, just need to display it)

2 - Ingredients & Nutrition Information (we have this, just need to include the date somewhere in the packaging

3 - Return instructions - We will include inside the shipping box a smaller "return box" with prepaid shipping for customers to return the empty packaging, insulated foam, and dry ice bags. We are able to recycle/reuse much of these materials and it will keep costs down.

    Julianna - Yes, the winner will be based on the packaging design, not the logo. If someone does a great logo I will contact them and purchase the rights to it. But the winner of this contest is the submission that best develops the best design for the packaging.

    Everyone, thank you for all the submissions. At this point in the contest we have decided that we will keep our existing logo. We will be evaluating only submissions that show a concept for packaging of the frozen food. To clarify further: We need designs that will fit on a 10 x 10 x 2 inch box. This box will hold the microwavable tray that holds the frozen food. We can also look at designs for the exterior box that will be 2nd day air mailed to customers. This box is approximately 16 x 12 x 12 inches. Inside this box will be 10 x 10 x 2 inch boxes that contain the actual food, as well as packaging materials.

    We are looking for a packaging solution. Please read this post for details Our frozen food is placed in a box that is 9 inches wide, 9 inches long and 2.5 inches deep. We need a design for this box, or a design for a sleeve that we can wrap around the box. Next we take the box containing the food and put it in a Styrofoam container that is 11 inches wide, 8.5 inches long and 7.25 inches deep. We need ideas for stickers/graphics to place on this container. Last, we put the Styrofoam container in a cardboard box and ship it to the customer. We need ideas for graphics/logos/artwork to put on this box. We are open to any and all ideas! Most creative solution wins!!

      Yes, the logo can be reused or a new logo can be created. We are looking for a packaging solution. By this we mean graphics and a design for the box. We can use a logo, other artwork, ideas etc. Right now we have food and a logo. We want to get ideas for the package we will use to ship the food.
