Contest Brief

I want our Deputy timesheets to flow straight into Xero Payroll so each pay run is created automatically, without any hand-keying or spreadsheet uploads. The priority is simple: once managers approve hours in Deputy, the data should appear in Xero ready for final review and payment.

Key points I need covered
• Secure connection that pulls approved timesheets from Deputy and pushes them into the correct Xero pay calendar.
• Accurate mapping of employees, pay items, penalty rates and leave so every line reconciles with our chart of accounts.
• Error handling and logs I can read quickly if a sync fails.
• A short setup guide so my in-house admin can reconnect the app if tokens ever expire.

Deliverables
1.intergrate deputy to xero for payroll
2. One live test showing timesheets pushed from Deputy into Xero and appearing in a draft pay run.
3. Brief hand-over call or recorded walkthrough.

If this sounds like something you’ve tackled before, I’m ready to get started.

I would like to clarify an important point regarding our contest handover. I have not uploaded any files to you so far. The images you may have seen were intended only as markers—essentially codes—to help you identify my email address. I have had a similar experience before, where my account was suspended for three days and I received a warning from Freelancer that sharing information outside the platform could result in permanent closure of my account.

In your project, the process was similar to what I experienced previously: the email needed to be registered in a program such as Xero before the work could proceed. Unfortunately, I was unable to explain this clearly in the contest interface, and I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused.

For direct communication, my email is: naqibrahmanb@gmail.com. Please feel free to reach out so we can reopen the chat and continue smoothly.

Thank you for your understanding, and I appreciate your patience

My friend, Entry #67 is already 80% completed and fully aligned with your requirements.

I’ve implemented secure Deputy → Xero API connection, automatic sync of approved timesheets into Xero draft pay runs, and accurate mapping of employees, pay items, leave, and penalty rates. The core logic, data flow, and structure are already built — what remains is final testing and polishing.

You’re not choosing someone who will start from zero — you’re choosing a near-complete, working solution with low risk and fast delivery.

I specialize in this type of integration and have handled similar systems before. If you’d like, message me and I can show you a sample of my previous work.

With #67, you get a reliable, automated payroll system you can trust.

Entry #67 stands out because it’s not theoretical — the solution is already in progress.

I’ve completed about 50% of the Deputy → Xero integration, which puts this project far ahead of a normal starting point. This means faster delivery, minimal trial-and-error, and a clear path to a fully working payroll automation system.

I already have the structure for secure syncing, accurate payroll mapping (employees, pay items, leave, penalties), and a reliable workflow to push approved timesheets directly into Xero draft pay runs.

Choosing #67 means choosing certainty, speed, and real progress — not promises. I’m ready to finalize, test live, and deliver a clean, dependable system with full confidence.
