I need a logo designed for a startup business called: RemoteMVP

The business is a online-only web development consultancy. We build cool things on the web for startup companies. We build things like web applications, websites and apps for people and help them grow their startup businesses using our experience running tech startup companies for many years. We try our best to act like a hip startup company :)

(note: the business has nothing to do with TV remotes or anything like that)

Here are some websites and logo designs that we'd like to inspire you for the design of our new logo. I have also attached a lot of design inspiration to this contest, see the attached files.

Our website is going to look like a similar style to these sites.

Some simple requirements around what we are looking for:

1. The logo just needs to be basic, in a similar layout to ActiveCollab's or Kissmetric's logos which means:

(a) a super simple icon/image/logo on the left side (something signifying "growth" would be nice since we help companies to grow); and
(b) the business name as a word/text mark on the right side in a nice *unique* and clean (but not boring) sans-serif OR a cursive font (see files attached to this contest for inspiration)

2. In terms of colors we would like to keep it simple and use 1-2 colours only and either black, purple or a strong blue like kissmetrics but we haven't settled on the final color scheme yet so we'd potentially like to hire the winner to tweak the colors later after the contest is finished.

We have other ongoing design work so if you're a good fit we'd like to work with you more down the track as our clients always have design work that we need good designers for.
