In 2004 I started the Microsoft program and after my final exam I am now holding the Microsoft Certified System Engineer and Microsoft Certified System Administrator diplomas.
In 2006 I started with the Cisco program and after my final exam I am now holding the Cisco Certified Network Associated diploma.
From year 2004 to 2006 I was employed in Seychelles by space 95 ltd. Space 95 is today one of the biggest IT companies in Seychelles and I had the position of a senior software support technician. During my two years as an employee at space 95 I was directly involved in almost every project delivered by the company; my main task was evaluate and plan the migration to windows 2003 environment plus supervisor of the technical department.
I planed and setup the network infrastructure of several important organizations like the Central bank of Seychelles, Seychelles Savings Back, Social security Funds, Ministry of Tourism, Seychelles Civil Aviation Authorities and the Ministry of Land Use and Habitat. I also gave training to the systems administrators and the IT managers of some of these institutions.
Space 95 also shared interest with one of the two Internet Service Providers (ISP) of Seychelles, Kokonet and due to my experience in network infrastructure I worked together with them in several projects.
In 2006 I was offer a position as IT specialist with Victoria Computer Service (VCS) and I fund that it was my time to move on.
As a part time job I am was also a Senior Consultant for SLE Custom Consulting LTD, I was mainly auditing and conducting surveys to some companies which require additional levels of security and generating reports with vulnerabilities on their network environment.
From 2006 to 2007 I was employed by a local offshore company called Venus Advisory Ltd. (Now known as Superfund), for that period I was employed as an IT specialist. My main contribution during this period was to the infrastructure of the company, for which I was actively participating since the beginning. That year I also started my Masters in IT Science..
In the year 2007 I started what I believe has been the most intensive employment I have had so far, with a great responsibility. I started as a director for Infrastructure development which is currently a position with a national interest, managing the network infrastructure for all ministries, the Statehouse, the sea port, the airport and the local districts. I have actively participated in the implementation of what is known as the electronic government network, supporting the platform for services like: Email Services, Infrastructure services, web services, internet services and applications for the government of Seychelles.
